    Sesiones & Ponentes

    ESG Session

Sustainability (as part of the large ESG) will take centre stage at the ULI Spain Annual Conference. We will analyse sustainability in the real estate sector and the implications of the multiple agents involved in the industry. In the ESG session we will discuss the role of investors, regulators, financial institutions, and construction companies in the transformation of our industry from a sustainability perspective.

    Cities Session

The sustainable development of cities and their planning is one of the major concerns of the real estate industry. At the ULI Spain Annual Conference we will address this matter, by presenting the study carried out by Fundación Metropoli and CBRE "Diagonal South Europe (Milan-Barcelona-Madrid-Lisbon) four cities: Competitiveness Factors". We will have experts representing the four cities, as well as those responsible for the study, who will explain its factors and main conclusions.

    Investment Session

Spanish real estate remains attractive to the international investment community. In the ULI Spain Annual Conference session dedicated to investment, we will analyse the reasons behind this interest, shown through direct investments, private funds, and joint ventures, as well as through Spanish listed real estate companies.

Several global investors will explain why, how and where they are investing in Spanish real estate.Throughout the session they will answer these questions:

Which sectors are the most attractive in Spain?

Does the investor require a premium in returns when investing in Spain?

Why is there a discrepancy between listed markets and private market valuations?

Will investors look to increase their allocations to Spanish real estate in the coming year?

    Technology Session

Real estate and the metaverse, the impact of the Ukraine crisis, new developments in digitalisation and investment or pre and post Covid are some of the issues that we will address at the ULI Spain Annual Conference during the session dedicated to technology and digital transformation. Speakers will include Ami Kotecha, Co-Founder & Head of Venture Investments at Amro Partners, and Gregory Dewerpe, Founder AO PropTech & Chairman of AMD Capital, among others.

    Living Session

Living sector is greatly the largest out of all different real estate verticals, and therefore, one of the biggest challenges that Spain and Europe are facing in the incoming years. While the development of new residential housing (on sale), and new formulas of rental offering, we will meet with key representatives from some of the most innovative living real estate organisations, that COVID-19 has accelerated and as a result of the social changes we are facing.

New ways of sharing-housing to cover the new generation of hybrid work employees, “knowmads” and other innovative service-solutions for the XXI consumer, apart from the growing professionalisation among ownerships, usage and management of the living segment.
